This is a 6 hour course delivered over 1 day.

The objective of this course is that candidates should gain the knowledge and practical skills to make an assessment of an emergency, call for appropriate assistance and be able to administer basic first aid until the arrival of more qualified help.

It is ideal for smaller workplaces that present few health and safety risks where a nominated person is required to take charge in the event of illness or accident.
